About MediContur Exhibition: Four Days of Photography Across ExCeL London and The Landmark London

London, a presentation and gala dinner at The Landmark London, and a medical symposium.

The exhibition stand was an active part of the programme. Alongside conversations with visitors, the team gave medical presentations on the stand, drawing audiences into the space. Each setting needed a different kind of coverage, from the pace of the exhibition floor to the formal evening and the discussions at the symposium.

The Challenge

Exhibition photography has to show what happened on the stand, not simply how it looked. At ExCeL, our photographer needed to capture the branding and scale of the space, the conversations with visitors and the medical presentations taking place within a busy exhibition hall.

The talks needed particular attention. A close photograph of a speaker would show who presented, but the client also needed images of the audience and the wider stand to show the interest each session attracted.

The setting then changed completely. The presentation and gala dinner at The Landmark required coverage of the people, the room and the key moments of the evening. The medical symposium called for clear photographs of speakers, delegates and discussions. Across four days, the images needed to feel consistent while giving each part of the programme its own character.

Our Approach

We began at ExCeL by photographing the exhibition stand, its branding and the activity around it. As visitors arrived, the focus moved to genuine conversations and engagement. During the medical presentations, our photographer captured speakers, audience reactions and wider views that placed each talk within the exhibition.

At The Landmark, we covered the presentation and gala dinner as the evening unfolded, moving between speakers, guests and the atmosphere in the room. For the medical symposium, we concentrated on the presentations and discussions, as well as the delegates taking part.

Our photographer also recorded four short POV videos during the assignment. They offer a view from behind the camera, showing how the photographer moved through each setting and found the moments seen in the finished gallery.

The Results

The client received a photographic record of the full programme. The gallery shows the exhibition stand in use, the medical presentations and their audiences, the atmosphere of the gala dinner, and the people and discussions at the symposium.

Together, the images give the client a useful record of what took place across the four days. The POV videos add a closer look at the photographer’s work on site and can be viewed alongside the finished photographs.
